I had a spare microwave just taking up space in my cupboard. I listed it on freecycle on Sunday & it was picked up yesterday & I received the following thank you email:
“Thank you so much Mary. The microwave is the nicest one I’ve ever owned and our daughter with Dyslexia can now see what time it is on a digital clock. Have a great day and thanks again.”
Gave me such a wonderful feeling to know I had helped someone in a little way, plus the microwave is not taking up space in my home, it’s not sitting in my cupboard wasting away until it is no longer useful.
I often give stuff away on https://my.freecycle.org/
Do you have anything in your home you no longer need that can be passed on to someone else?
