I often get some lovely thank you’s from clients. Earlier this year I received an email from a client I had helped that really touched my heart –
“Hi Mary, thanks for all of your effort. It is much appreciated. You are probably one of the few people who really understood how much work and how hard it was for me to get the house ready for sale and your assistance was invaluable. You really simplified things and were instrumental in getting all of the big things moving… Working with you was one of the best things I have ever done and your training and non-judgemental attitude was refreshing after a lifetime of self-blame and spousal put downs… I remember things you said and did and I am trying to change habits of a lifetime, one day at a time.
I wish you nothing but the absolute best in your future endeavours and personal life as you deserve it.” Karen, Wantirna, June-17
The above is not all of the email as there were some personal references to my client’s situation that should not be shared.
She was a lovely lady in a difficult situation, her life had changed & she needed to leave her family home. Only in her 50’s although she looked so youthful, she was delightful & I really enjoyed helping her. She has now moved on to the next stage in her life having got there some difficult challenges with grace & kindness.
She is not alone in finding life challenging. Life is not perfect & I worry that our world today makes us think it should be.
Hiccups will happen, although as an organiser I would like our homes to be beautifully organised at all times, our lives are fluid & our homes often reflect this.
At times my own home gets a little disorganised when I am busy, however, if you know where to put things away to when you have time, it is easier to return to an organised state –
